Weedseed Sunset acrylic, pen and ink
This piece became a banner for Downtown Nanaimo's Banner Festival. The inspiration came from sitting watching the sunset one late summer evening. The grass along the sandstone shore had gone to seed and the juxtaposition made for interesting composition. Close to the earth, water and sky.

Life drawing is a wonderful way to keep up my chops. I tend to find a medium that I love and explore until something new comes along.
